Traditions (pt.2)

The Galway Food Festival celebrates 100 years of Irish food honouring and rediscovering Ireland’s culinary, decade by decade. Infact the first festival was done during the 1916 Rising over the Easter weekend. This festival is about several culinary, traditions, dishes and products. It starts the 24th and it lasts unti the 28th of March.                                   There is home-made cordials, lemonade, freshly baked biscuits and sweets.             This event includes a food village on the banks of the Corrib, cookery demonstrations, wine tastings and beer breweries and kids activities.                       More than 60,000 people are waiting for this festival. Also there are over 100 food outlets, more than 75 restaurants and producers coming from all areas throughout the city.
